These 7-inch black cable ties are manufactured from UV-stabilized nylon, a formulation that inhibits the photodegradation responsible for brittleness and failure in standard nylon ties exposed to prolonged sunlight. The self-locking mechanism cinches permanently and resists loosening under vibration or repeated movement.
Designed for outdoor and harsh-environment use, these ties are well suited to utility and telecom infrastructure, outdoor electrical conduit runs, HVAC equipment, construction site bundling, and industrial maintenance applications where continuous sun exposure would degrade untreated nylon. The black coloring also reduces visibility against dark cable jackets and conduit.
Each tie measures 7 inches in length and 0.14 inches in width with a 40 lb tensile strength rating. Cases contain 1,000 ties and ship via parcel carrier.
